Who We Are

Easy Tourist Fee Calculator helps accommodation owners and managers prepare CSV files for Mauritius Tourist Fee declarations. The service is independent and is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Mauritius Revenue Authority.

Information We Collect

When you use the service, we may store your email address, account authentication records, property names, owner or client names, Tourist Fee Numbers, declaration months, stay dates, guest counts, CSV download activity, subscription plan, reminder preferences, payment review references, and support messages.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create and secure your account, save your properties and declaration history, generate CSV files, manage trial and paid access, review manual payment references, send reminder emails where enabled, improve the service, prevent misuse, and provide support.

Payments

Where payment is made by Juice QR or bank transfer, we store the reference details you submit so that payment can be checked manually. If card or online payment processing is added later, it will be handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full card details in this application.

Data Storage

Account and declaration data is stored using Supabase. Access controls are used so each account can only access its own data, and admin-only functions are restricted to authorised service administrators.

Email

We use email to send account confirmation, password reset, security, payment review, and support messages. You are responsible for keeping your account email address current.

Retention

We keep account, property, declaration, payment review, and activity records for as long as needed to provide the service, support customers, meet legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to records we must reasonably retain.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the application, such as hosting, database, email, analytics, payment, and support providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Your Choices

You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information linked to your account by contacting us. Some changes may require identity or account verification.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for checking that the data entered into the tool is accurate before uploading any CSV file to MRA.
